On May 5, 2014 in Lagos: Nigerian women took to the streets to impress on government to do more to free more than two hundred school girls who were abducted by Boko Haram militants.

I have been following the #BringOurGirls protests in the news and on the ground, interviewing protesters and rights activists.

I have also been speaking with people, including social workers, familiar with Borno State which remains the hotbed of the Boko Haram insurgency.
